Does any one have any guess as to why this happened?

Or, someone could have taken it from my room, but that also doesn't make sense because nothing else valuable was missing or out-of-place.

My roommate could have taken my soap and forgot to put it back, which is highly unlikely because she didn't know where it was beforehand.

I was confused because I KNOW that I never once moved my soap.

I went downstairs to the kitchen area and saw a bottle of soap that looked exactly like mine: a big blue bottle of Dawn with only a little soap missing.

Today, I went to go wash some dishes but couldn't find my dish soap.

While moving in, I explicitly remember putting my dish soap in my desk cabniet.
