First because the only friends I made were runners, and now that I am not a runner anymore, I feel left out whenever I see them.

But honestly I feel like running track for two years in college has possibly ruined college for me.

I am not an awkward person, but I am kind of shy and I have never had to go out of my way to make friends because I've always had my fellow runners by my side.

I do still hang out with the girls from the track team, but our friendships are not as strong anymore because I am no longer with them every day running so we are growing apart.
