I think if she breaks something in a fit of anger, or deliberately wastes something, that she should pay for a replacement out of her allowance, but my wife disagrees and says that's not normal.

More info: my oldest child is 11 years old, and she deliberately does stuff like throw the remote down onto the tile floor, and uses up an entire 24 oz bottle of shampoo in 2 weeks.
