He was talking to some coworkers when he saw me walking toward him.

The next day I was walking to my area which requires me to walk pass his desk.

I felt good about what happened, considering me being shy around him all the time.

He then lingered for a little bit pretending to be interested in the work me and my group was doing and then left.

I look up at him and gave him this big smile and he just kept staring at me.

When I went back to my work he just stared at me with no smile.

It was bad timing since I was busy with something, but words were exchanged.

One day I realized me being shy wasn't going get us anywhere so I took initiative to say hi to him when passed by my area.
